Oda Projesi & Nadin Reschke, Tongue kitabını tanıtıyorlar
TONGUE dil üzerine bir proje. Proje, 2009 yılında Berlin’de Kreuzberg sakinlerini dillerini birbirlerinden öğrenmeleri ve birbirlerine öğretmeleri üzerine davet eden; yeni ve varolan diller üzerine araştıran bir dil kursu olarak başladı. Birlikte sorular soruldu; bir dil kursunun sıradan yapısını ödünç alarak, gündelik hayatta dilin kullanımı üzerine düşünmeye çalışırsak neler olur? Eğer yeni bir dil kurmak için grupların dilleri yerine, bireylerin gündelik dillerini kullanmaya çalışırsak, bu nasıl mümkün olur?
Bu sorularla birlikte oluşan dil kursu ardından, 50 TONGUE katılımcısının katılımı ile, cep kitabı büyüklüğünde, bir dil kitabı oluştu. Proje, sonraki aşamalarında farklı dillerin yaşandığı gruplarla da kelime arşivi olurşturmayı hedeflemektedir. Oda Projesi (Istanbul) ve Nadin Reschke (Berlin) ilk defa İstanbul’da TONGUE kitabının tanıtacak ve dil konusunu tartışmaya açacaklar.
Etkinlik Türkçe ve İngilizce olarak gerçekleşecektir.

TONGUE A GUIDED BOOK TOUR and Discussion Oda Projesi & Nadin Reschke

TONGUE is a project about language. It started 2009 in Berlin as a language course in search for new and existing tongue spaces, inviting Kreuzberg neighbors and residents to learn and teach languages from and with each other. Together they asked: What happens if the ordinary form of a language course is borrowed to look at the way language is being used in daily life? How can one try to create a new language by taking the daily language of individuals, rather than the language of groups, as a starting point? Since then the project material developed into a book, a pocket size language learning tool with materials and contributions from more than 50 TONGUE partners. The project aims furthermore by reaching different language communities abroad creating a word archive.
For the first time the initiators Oda Projesi (Istanbul) and Nadin Reschke (Berlin) introduce the TONGUE book in Istanbul, opening a discussion on language issues in Turkey. The event will be held in Turkish and English language.

Service Media contains a collection of 16 essays, artist projects, an interview, and a syllabus around and about socially engaged art practice. Each contribution independently defines, critiques and celebrates art’s action beyond and outside the white cube, “creating community within a community.”

Breakfast at Noon: With Oda Projesi and ABA

Breakfast at Noon is a series of thematic encounters for which ADA invites guests to present and discuss their work with an audience around a breakfast table. The guests are invited for the specific position they take through their work and the way in which they structure their working processes. On the 9th december 2012 ADA presented their own practice next to the practices of the two, artist initiated, collaborative practices of Oda Projesi and ABA, Air Berlin Alexanderplatz.
